Not Sold Description
1935-D Half Dollar, Untoned MS66
Notorious Strike Rarity
1935-D 50C MS66 PCGS. Weak strike definition plagues the
1935-D, and examples typically survive at the low end of the Mint
State spectrum. This Premium Gem has uncharacteristically bold
detail over Liberty's head, though the branch hand and upper gown
display the usual incompleteness. Each side has fulsome luster over
brilliant, impressively preserved surfaces. About as nice as one
may hope to find for the issue. PCGS has yet to certify a
higher-graded submission (9/15).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24RK, PCGS# 6596, Greysheet# 6733)
