Description
1936-D Walking Liberty Half, Radiant MS67
Doubled Die Obverse, FS-101
1936-D 50C Doubled Die Obverse, FS-101, MS67 PCGS. CAC. The
obverse is plainly die doubled on the date and IN GOD WE TRUST, as
well as on the lower hem of Liberty's gown and the sandals -- the
product of a doubled master die. Frosty, beautifully preserved
surfaces yield icy-blue luster with hints of champagne throughout.
Partial thumb separation on Liberty's branch hand confirms the
quality of the strike. One of the finest 1936-D half dollars
certified. Population: 35 in 67 (1 in 67+), 0 finer (6/15).From The Eric Lane Collection of Walking Liberty Half Dollars.
