Low Mintage 1938-D Half, MS67
1938-D 50C MS67 NGC. A brilliant Superb Gem with no evidence of toning on either side. This is an exceptional example with satiny white luster created by extensive die polish in the fields on each side. Although not a full strike, the design definition is far finer than usual. This piece is tied for the finest examples certified by either NGC or PCGS. Census: 18 in 67, 0 finer (8/07).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24RV, PCGS# 6605, GSID# 6739)
