1939 Walking Liberty Half, MS68
Tied for Numerically Finest at PCGS
1939 50C MS68 PCGS. A strong mintage of just over 6.8
million pieces has left the 1939 half dollar plentiful through
Premium Gem, and even attainable with some effort in MS67. Examples
in MS68 become scarce with no numerically finer pieces reported at
PCGS, although seven coins are graded MS68+ (4/26). This
exceptional Superb Gem displays delicate champagne toning over
brilliant surfaces that releases an array of pastel rainbow
iridescence. The strike is sharp and the cartwheel effect is
