Superlative 1941 Walker, MS68
1941 50C MS68 NGC. What a pleasure it is to examine this remarkable half dollar. The nearly perfect surfaces show pinpoint striking definition and there is just a slight degree of peripheral toning present, including a faintly perceptible arc of rainbow coloration near the left obverse border. There are certainly no distractions on either side of the piece, and a beautiful satiny sheen perfectly highlights the nearly immaculate fields and devices. A splendid example of one of the best produced issues in the entire series, in a state of preservation that has never been exceeded.
