Description

1941 Half Dollar, MS68
Registry-Grade Candidate

1941 50C MS68 PCGS. Ex: Charles Schultz. This Registry-grade 1941 half dollar is virtually untoned on sandy-white surfaces covered in luminous luster. The strike is exceptional, with a fully impressed head, branch hand, and skirt lines. The sole imperfection is a microscopic nick on the eagle's chest. The Mint struck over 24 million half dollars in 1941, and the issue is plentiful through MS67. This 1941 Superb Gem and 47 other MS68 pieces, as well as one at MS68+, are the finest certified at PCGS (4/26).
