Description

1941-S Walking Liberty Half, MS66+
Lustrous High-End Branch Mint Piece

1941-S 50C MS66+ PCGS. This is a beautiful high-end Premium Gem struck in San Francisco, showing brilliant, luminous silver luster on well-struck design elements. The 1941-S is a quality issue of almost 8.1 million strikes and is plentiful through MS66. Plus-graded pieces such as this one can be located with patience, but higher grades are scarce as PCGS reports just 26 numerically finer (4/26). Only minor softness is seen on Liberty's branch hand, and a tiny set of reed marks is noted in front of the eagle.
