Description

Superb Gem 1941-S Half Dollar
Tied for the Finest Certified

1941-S 50C MS67 PCGS. It just doesn't get any better than this Superb Gem, as it is tied for the finest that either PCGS or NGC have certified. The 1941-S is considered a key date among the Walkers issued in the final decade of that series. Both sides feature a strong strike that only shows weakness at the center of the obverse, although Liberty's thumb still shows some separation. The surfaces exhibit brilliant and frosty mint luster with no evidence of toning. PCGS has certified seven examples as MS67 and NGC has certified 19 similar pieces (3/13).(Registry values: N4719)
