Description

1943-S Walking Liberty Half, MS67+
Top-Grade CAC Registry Contender

1943-S 50C MS67+ PCGS. CAC. In MS67, the 1943-S half dollar is scarce but available with some patience. MS67+ coins are much less plentiful, and no numerically finer pieces are known. This high-end CAC coin will serve well as a Registry coin. Vibrant, frosty mint luster adorns pristine surfaces, with delicate champagne iridescence throughout. Partial thumb separation appears on Liberty's branch hand, and the strike is sharp overall.

We have previously handled only two similar MS67+ PCGS CAC coins, which realized $20,400 and $38,400, respectively. The current piece is an exceptional opportunity. PCGS Population: 18 in 67+, 0 finer. CAC: 37 in 67, 0 finer (10/25).(Registry values: N1793)
