1939-S Walking Liberty Half, MS67+
Only One Finer Coin at PCGS
1939-S 50C MS67+ PCGS. CAC. The 1939-S Walking Liberty half
dollar claims a mintage of 2.5 million pieces and the issue can be
located in MS67 condition with some patience, but finer coins are
rare. This Plus-graded Superb Gem exhibits well-detailed design
elements, with just a touch of the usual softness on the wreath
hand. The virtually pristine, lustrous surfaces show highlights of
sea-green toning. PCGS has graded one numerically finer example
(3/20).(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24RY, PCGS# 6608, Greysheet# 6741)
