Finer Certified Examples Are Rare
1932-D 25C MS64 PCGS. White-steel surfaces are highlighted
by hints of russet-brown, particularly on the peripheral reverse.
The 1932-D is, of course, one of the two key dates of the
Washington quarter series, along with the 1932-S, and has the
second lowest mintage of the series at 436,800, second once again
to the 1932-S. However, the Denver issue is scarcer today. Finer
certified examples are rare.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2448, PCGS# 5791, Greysheet# 5646)
