Description

1932-D Washington Quarter, MS65
Extremely Rare in Finer Grades

1932-D 25C MS65 PCGS. CAC. The key date to the Washington series and one that is nearly impossible to find in full Gem condition. The strike is generally sharp on Washington's motif and the eagle's chest. Frosty and bright, with light gray patina accented with some gold-orange in restricted areas. A few tiny marks are hidden in the hair over Washington's ear and on the eagle's torso. A challenging coin to find in Gem grades, and this one should find many interested collectors. We note that the PCGS holder is scuffy on the lower reverse, making it difficult to view the mintmark area on the coin. Population: 89 in 65 (4 in 65+), 2 finer. CAC: 18 in 65, 0 finer (11/17).
