    Description

    Important Gem 1932-D Washington Quarter

1932-D 25C MS65 PCGS. Light pastel apricot and russet patina adorns beautifully satiny, otherwise untoned surfaces. Traces of reflectivity are evident in the fields, especially on the obverse. A couple of faint milling marks, on the obverse, are the only minor detraction. This coin is remarkably well struck for an early Washington quarter, and this issue's limited original mintage of 436,800 pieces confirms the importance of Gem representatives. Only one example has been graded finer, by PCGS (8/06). A strong candidate for inclusion in the finest quality collection of Washington quarters.(Registry values: N1793) (NGC ID# 2448, PCGS# 5791)

    Weight: 6.25 grams
