Description

Gem Silver-White 1932-S Quarter

1932-S 25C MS65 NGC. The 1932-S quarter is one of the two acknowledged series keys, not as rare as the 1932-D grade-for-grade but still quite elusive at the Gem level. The relative paucity of marks on either side puts this piece near the head of the class. The silver-white surfaces are nearly untoned, save for a couple of wispy gray-gold flecks that appear under a loupe. Census: 64 in 65, 5 finer (7/10).(Registry values: N991)
