    Description

MS67 1934-D Medium Motto Quarter, Among Finest

1934-D 25C Medium Motto MS67 PCGS. The 1934-D Washington quarters are found only with the Medium Motto and Heavy Motto variants, unlike the Philadelphia Mint issue which is found in Light, Medium, and Heavy Motto types. Blushes of silver-gray patina complement the bold luster present on both sides. The well-struck surfaces are almost entirely free of singular abrasions, save for a single undistracting tick on Washington's neck. This MS67 piece is in the top tier of known examples of the Medium Motto variety, as PCGS has certified only three coins in this grade, with none finer, while NGC has certified four more, none finer (3/07).(Registry values: N2998)
