Description

1935-D Quarter, MS67
Tied for Finest-Graded at PCGS

1935-D 25C MS67 PCGS. The 1935-D is another scarce, semi-key issue from the Denver mint. Only 5.78 million pieces were produced and high-grade examples are very elusive. Only 18 other pieces have been certified in MS67 by PCGS, with none graded finer at either of the major services. This is an absolutely splendid coin. The surfaces are covered with light moss-green and rose-colored toning around lavender centers, and the whole coin has a significant presence of thick mint frost. As one would expect from the grade, the surfaces approach technical perfection. Population: 19 in 67, 0 finer (2/14).(Registry values: N1793)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 244E, PCGS# 5798, Greysheet# 5650)

Weight: 6.25 grams

Metal: 90% Silver, 10% Copper
