1935-S 25C MS67 NGC. Like many of the early S-mint Washington quarters, the 1935-S is challenging in high grades. Enticing gold, violet, and teal toning accents the pearl-gray surfaces of this powerfully struck Superb Gem. Close examination under a glass yields only a couple of nearly imperceptible handling marks. Neither NGC nor PCGS has certified any examples finer (8/08).(Registry values: N991)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 244F, PCGS# 5799, GSID# 5651)
