Description
Incredible Superb Gem 1935-S Quarter
1935-S 25C MS67 PCGS. By 1935, the novelty of the Washington quarter design had faded, and few collectors thought to save examples of later issues. As a consequence, Superb Gems such as this coin are condition rarities. This solidly struck and frosty representative has thin gold toning over each side and deeper color at parts of the margins. The upper obverse has a zone of rich peach patina, while paler orange is present at the lower reverse.(Registry values: N991)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 244F, PCGS# 5799, Greysheet# 5651)
