    Description

    Gem 1936-D Washington Quarter

1936-D 25C MS66 PCGS. The original mintage of this issue is 5.3 million coins, a total that is not unusually low for a branch mint Washington Quarter from this era. Nevertheless, the '36-D is a well known semi-key date that becomes progressively more difficult to locate as the grade increases. Rose-golden tinting overall, both the obverse and reverse are awash in scintillating mint luster. There do not appear to be any abrasions that would bar this coin from an even higher grade. A Gem that is sure to delight the specialist. (NGC ID# 244H, PCGS# 5801)

    Weight: 6.25 grams

    Metal: 90% Silver, 10% Copper

The marketing was exceptional from the photos to the ads in Civil War Times and North South Trader for the cross over people!!! I have had many emails from my Civil War collecting fraternity that saw these and I saw them at the national show in Nashville/Franklin in early December.
