Description

1936-D Washington Quarter, MS67
No Numerically Finer Coins at PCGS

1936-D 25C MS67 PCGS. CAC. Contemporary collectors were concentrating on commemorative issues in 1936, and few bothered to save any Washington quarters from the Denver Mint. As a result, the 1936-D Washington quarter is seldom encountered in high grade. This spectacular MS67 example is sharply detailed and lustrous, with a few hints of gold and lavender toning. Population: 11 in 67 (1 in 67+), 0 finer (12/12).
