Description
Frosty 1938-S Quarter, MS67 PCGS
1938-S 25C MS67 PCGS. Potent cartwheel luster and brilliant surfaces combine with a good strike and attractive surfaces for irrefutable eye appeal. A few trivial grazes in the right obverse field are of little relevance. The reverse has several tiny mint-made lumps that would be termed "die rust" if they were present on a 19th century coin instead; an apparent attempt at removal by the mint creates a glimpse of prooflike reflectivity within the eagle's right (facing) wing. Population: 24 in 67, none finer (10/03).(#5807) (Registry values: N491)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 244P, PCGS# 5807, Greysheet# 5656)
