1939 25C MS68 NGC. CAC. This assertively struck early Washington Quarter features golden-brown, lavender, lime-green, and olive toning, which is especially iridescent throughout the reverse. As expected of the grade, the lustrous surfaces are virtually unblemished. The combined forces of NGC and PCGS have certified six pieces as MS68, and none have achieved a higher grade.(Registry values: N491)
