Superb Toned Gem 1940-D Quarter
1940-D 25C MS67 PCGS. Highly lustrous and lightly toned in the centers with deep golden-rose patination around the margins. Very scarce as such and one of the finest examples certified with only 18 others in MS67 and none finer by PCGS, although NGC has certified one in MS68 (9/08).From The Craig Norris Collection.(Registry values: N491)
