1942-D 25C Doubled Die Obverse MS62 NGC. FS-101, formerly FS-015. This bold and popular doubled die is listed in the Guide Book. The broad spread is most obvious on LIBERTY, where the L and E show notching and the two vertical strokes of the B are plain. Well struck and brightly lustrous with dappled gold and sage peripheral toning on each side.(Registry values: P1)Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 95818, GSID# 5664)
