1942-D 25C Doubled Die Reverse, FS-801, MS64 PCGS. Doubling is most prominent on the eagle's beak and the branch above the mintmark. Both sides of this near-Gem are awash in blazing luster, and reveal occasional hints of light gold toning. A sharply struck and well preserved near-Gem.Ex: Long Beach Signature (Heritage, 2/2009), lot 1221.
