FS-801, Doubled Die Reverse
1942-D 25C Doubled Die Reverse, FS-801, MS66 PCGS. CAC. The
1942-D Washington quarter has both a dramatic obverse doubled die
and reverse doubled die. FS-801 is the reverse doubled die.
Dramatic spreading is apparent on all facets of the central device,
most notably on the eagle's beak, the wreath, and the bundle of
arrows. Warm iridescent toning graces the margins with the
interiors brilliant. No bothersome abrasions are evident.
