Description
1962-D Quarter, MS67
Beautiful Obverse Toning
1962-D 25C MS67 PCGS. For the Registry Set collector, this
Superb Gem is essentially the ultimate representative of the 1962-D
quarter, as it is tied with just eight others as the finest
certified at PCGS (10/14). It also ranks nearly half of a grade
point finer than the example in the current highest-rated Registry
Set. The obverse is awash in swirling rainbow hues, with warm
champagne and deeper olive-gold shades residing amid the ribbons.
The reverse is nearly brilliant, exhibiting only a trace of light
golden toning. The technical appeal, however, rivals the immense
visual attributes, boasting nearly flawless surfaces and bold
design elements. The advanced Registry collector will want to bid
accordingly.(Registry values: N208)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 246R, PCGS# 5873, GSID# 5700)
