1976-D 25C Clad MS68 NGC. No fewer than 860 million quarters
were manufactured at Denver in 1976 with the Bicentennial reverse.
Somehow, NGC has only seen a single submission in MS68 -- the coin
offered here. Both sides are satiny and brilliant. A strong lens
reveals a few otherwise indiscernible ticks. Census: 1 in 68, 0
finer (11/16).Ex: FUN Signature (Heritage, 1/2012), lot 11052, where it realized $3,220.
