Scarce Doubled Die Obverse
Only One Finer FS-101 Known
1976-D 25C Doubled Die Obverse, FS-101, MS66 PCGS. FS-101 is
the most significant die variety of the Bicentennial quarter dollar

on the motto. FS-101 is scarce overall, and in Mint State the
variety is conditionally rare. The lustrous stone-gray surfaces of
this 1976-D Premium Gem are smooth and deliver a pleasing cartwheel
effect. Marks are light and trivial, with none showing significant.
