    Single Finest Graded

    1937 25C Doubled Die Obverse, FS-101, MS66 NGC. The date and motto are strongly die-doubled on this Cherrypickers' Guide variety. Both sides are completely brilliant and highly lustrous. Raised circular lathe lines (as-made) appear on obverse. The portrait and eagle exhibit full definition. Bill Fivaz and J.T. Stanton call the 1937 FS-101 DDO quarter "one of the most important in the series." This Premium Gem is not only the finest example we have ever had the pleasure of handling, it is the single finest certified example at NGC and PCGS combined. Bid accordingly. Census: 1 in 66, 0 finer (12/19).
