Description

1937 Quarter Dollar, PR68
CAC-Approved Registry Coin

1937 25C PR68 PCGS. CAC. The proof 1937 Washington quarter is notably rare in PR68, particularly in a PCGS holder. NGC lists a single coin finer, but at PCGS this piece is tied for finest. It is only the second distinct PR68 example in a PCGS holder that we have handled. It is one of just three PR68s endorsed by CAC. Strike sharpness is outstanding, complementing the pristine, mirrored fields. Attractive iridescent toning characterizes each side. The other PR68 PCGS coin we handled last appeared in our October 2020 Dallas Signature, where it realized $15,000. Population: 9 in 68, 0 finer. CAC: 3 in 68, 0 finer (11/21).(Registry values: N1793)
