    Description

    1952-D Quarter, MS67
    No Finer PCGS Examples

1952-D 25C MS67 PCGS. CAC. Irregular orange and copper-russet toning appears primarily on the left side of the obverse, while a small area of multicolored iridescence is present on the left side of the reverse. The glistening satin luster is full, as one should expect for the assigned grade. A couple of tiny marks appear on Washington's cheek and lower jaw. In the intervening years since this piece last graced one of our auctions, only two additional pieces have achieved the MS67 grade and there continue to be no finer examples from PCGS (11/12).
Ex: Central States Signature (Heritage, 5/2005), lot 7740.
