Description
'1783' Washington Cent, PR64
Proof Restrike in Silver, GW-107
Draped Bust, No Button, Engrailed Edge
1783 1C Washington & Independence Cent, Draped Bust, No Button,
Engrailed Edge, Silver Restrike, PR64 PCGS. Baker-3A, Vlack 17-L,
W-10380, GW-107, R.6. These 19th century dies present a
thicker-letter variant of the 1783 design. The proof surfaces
glitter with mirrorlike reflectivity and the nicely frosted devices
are intricately detailed. Light golden-brown and sky-blue toning
enriches both sides. The silver restrike is far scarcer than its
copper counterpart. Listed on page 78 of the 2025 Guide
