1875 Assumed Command 1775 MS63 DPL NGC. B-438C. White metal, 27.8 mm, R.6. A well struck and nicely preserved example of this George H. Lovett/Isaac F. Wood production of 1875. Die striations (as struck) are common on each side. The fields are deeply prooflike, as noted by NGC. A spot of verdigris rests on Washington's hair, above the ear.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# HHLG, PCGS# 661020)
