Description
1936 Berlin Olympics Medal, Uncertified. 66 mm. A large, heavy medal, probably struck in bronze. On the obverse is a cubist depiction of an Olympic athlete, inscribed with XI OLYMPIADE/BERLIN/1936. The reverse shows a large bell with the figure of an owl in its center, and German lettering along the lower edge. Struck from rusted dies, the piece is unworn and unabraded.Auction Info
