Includes: (1847-1932) Paul von Hindenburg, silver proof, 36 mm, 24.7 gm, edge-stamped .835 PR MÜNZE BERLIN ("Berlin Mint"), obverse bust right, legend around 1847-1932 REICHSPRÄSIDENT VON HINDENBURG, reverse tree with shield in center, UNENTWEGT IN TREUE v.H., around DAS VATERLAND ÜBER ALLES 2. OKTOBER 1932, Choice proof with copper-gold and sage patina; (ca. 1930) Johannes Kepler, pure silver, obverse bust surrounded by orbiting planets, legend around JOHANNES KEPLER 1571-1630 MENSUS ERAM COELOS ("I used to measure the heavens," the start of a poem Kepler composed for his tombstone), reverse half-timbered house with WEIL DER STADT around (the birthplace of Kepler, now housing the Kepler Museum), Choice Uncirculated; 1938 Adolf Hitler, bronze, 35 mm, 18.7 gm, bust right, around DER EINER UND FÜHRER ALLER DEUTSCHEN ("The one and only leader of the Germans"), reverse orb and scepter in center, dates flanking (European style) 13.3.1938 and 29.9.1938, legend around DAS GROSSDEUTSCHE REICH IST ERSTANDEN ("The great German empire is arisen"), celebrating the Anschluss ("Union') with Austria, struck at the Vienna Mint, with original cardboard box, Choice AU; and (undated) Bathers/"Berg Heil," bronze, 59 mm, 80.0 gm, art medal by Fritz Christ, three nude/partly clothed women in stream on one side, other side mountaineer in Alps, BERG HEIL ("Hail the mountains"), AU.
