Description
1811 Gloucester One Shilling Silver Token. Dalton-5. Building on obverse with GLOUCESTER COUNTY & CITY TOKEN above, Roman number date in exergue. The reverse features a shield of arms with crown above, all within a wreath and FOR XII PENCE above. A beautifully prooflike piece that shows only the slightest bit of handling in the fields, although weakly struck in the central obverse.Auction Info
