Description
1906 Philippines Centavo PR65 Red PCGS Secure. Three successive years (1903 through 1905) of relatively high centavo production at Philadelphia was followed by a miserly proof-only 1906 mintage of 500 pieces. The present satiny Gem has an intricate strike and lovely apricot-gold and chestnut color. Imperfections are confined to a fleck near the O in ONE and a narrow tick on the field above the eagle. Population: 5 in 65 Red, 1 finer (4/17).Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 90158, GSID# 25790)
